Safety Mesh / Safety Netting - Roof Safe Mesh PVC Coated
- Kiwimesh PVC Coated Roof Mesh consists of a 2.0mm diameter galvanised wire with a tensile strength exceeding 450mpa. This is coated and baked with a white plastic vinyl coating. Longitudinal wires are spaced at 150mm centres with cross wires spaced at 300mm centres.
- Provides a secure 'safety net' to prevent falls and injury during the installation of foil, iron and other roofi ng materials.
- Ideally suited for use in areas affected by coastal salts, near swimming pools, factories using corrosive chemicals, or intensive animal farming such as piggeries or chicken sheds.
- As PVC is not sensitive to UV light, this product is well suited for use under skylights.
- White colour blends well with white faced aluminium foil and other building materials for a more attractive finish.
- Tested and compliant with Safety Mesh Standard AS/NZS 4389: 1996.
- Galvanising complies with AS/NZS 4534: 2006 Class W02.
- Use of safety mesh is a legal requirement for all buildings of 3 metres in height and over, or where there is a possibility of serious harm
- from a fall of less than 3 metres.
- Meets the requirements of the Code of Practices throughout New Zealand.
- Can be used with both timber and steel framing.
